Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 people lose their life every single day.

As medical students studying in Far North Queensland, we see firsthand how health challenges can hit regional and remote communities even harder. Patients often travel long distances for treatment, spend time away from family, and face extra financial and emotional strain. That’s why we’re taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World's Greatest Shave.

Through our training in medicine here in FNQ, we’re learning not just the science behind blood cancers, but the human impact they have on individuals, families, and entire communities. By donating to our page, you’re helping to fund life-changing research, vital support services, and practical assistance for patients navigating diagnosis and treatment — especially those in rural and regional Australia.

Every donation — big or small — makes a real and tangible difference. Together, we can support better outcomes, stronger services, and brighter futures for Australians facing blood cancer.
