Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 people lose their life every single day. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, while supporting life-changing research projects and essential services for patients and their families. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference.
Recently, I lost my beautiful Nanny Franny to cancer. While it wasn’t leukaemia, seeing the impact cancer has on someone you love inspired me to do something that can make a difference. This cause is also deeply personal because when we were younger, my close cousin Zach was diagnosed with leukaemia. Watching our family go through that experience showed me just how devastating blood cancer can be.
By taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave, I hope to support families like mine who have been affected by blood cancer, and help raise vital funds for life-saving research and patient care.
