Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 people lose their life every single day.
That’s why I’m taking part in The World’s Greatest Shave at West Moreton Anglican College in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
Family is everything to me. I can’t imagine watching someone I love go through something like this. Knowing there are families out there living that reality every single day breaks my heart. While I get to live my life with so much comfort and stability, others are fighting battles they never asked for. Blood cancer doesn’t discriminate it happens to the best people, the kindest souls, the families who never saw it coming.
I have it easy and the bare minimum I can do is give something of mine to help. My hair will grow back. For many families, their loved one won’t.
I’m not doing this just to cut my hair and move on. I don’t care how much money I raise, of course every dollar helps but knowing that my hair could help fund support or even put a smile on someone’s face during the hardest time of their life means more to me than anything.
This is about standing in solidarity, raising awareness, and using what I have to make even the smallest difference.
If you’re able to support me in any way, I would be so grateful.
Thanks for having your say
