Help me take a stand against blood cancer
This year, I’m taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave because blood cancer is something that has touched my life far too many times. Several of my family members and friends have been diagnosed with blood cancer over the years, and in some heartbreaking cases, we’ve lost people we deeply loved. Watching the impact of these illnesses, not only on those diagnosed, but on the people who care for them, has made this cause incredibly personal.
Blood cancer remains one of the most common and deadly cancers in Australia.
More than 53 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer every day, and that number continues to rise.
It is now the second-highest cause of cancer-related death in the country.
Unlike many other cancers, blood cancer has no screening tests and often appears without warning, making support and research absolutely vital.
Every donation, big or small, helps provide hope, care, and a future with better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
