Last year I shaved my head for the World’s Greatest Shave. This year, I’m colouring my hair pink and once again it’s for something far bigger than hair.
I’m supporting the incredible work of the Leukaemia Foundation through the World’s Greatest Shave because blood cancer doesn’t discriminate. It impacts children, parents, grandparents, friends, ordinary families whose lives change in an instant.
Every day, Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer. Many will face treatments that take their strength, their certainty, and often their hair. But unlike us, they don’t get to choose.
This is about standing in solidarity. It’s about funding research, providing accommodation close to treatment, emotional support, and hope during the most frightening time in someone’s life.
If you’re able to donate, share, or simply start a conversation about blood cancer, you’re making a difference.
Pink hair is temporary. The impact of your support is not. 💗
Congratulations Maria for your tremendous contribution to such an important cause.
