They say hair a man’s makeup. Throughout history, we’ve styled it, grown it, and shaped it to reflect who we are as individuals. Whether it’s on our heads or our face, it’s a form of identity — something we control, something we take ownership of.

But for millions of people around the world, that choice is taken away.

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day. 

And with that, hair loss, one of the most visible effects of many cancer treatments and a constant and confronting reminder of the fight they’re facing.

That’s where the World’s Greatest Shave comes in. It’s more than just shaving your head — it’s a powerful act of solidarity. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.  

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference. Could I also encourage everyone reaches out to their wider community, with me or with other participants to spread this, allowing for this page and cause to reach more people. Through this, let’s create a ripple of change.
