Why am I doing it

Laragh is bravely shaving her hair to raise money for the thousands of people facing the frightening reality of leukaemia.

She is also doing it in loving memory of her Nanny, who fought leukaemia and, for a time, won her battle. In her final days, Nanny knew that Laragh was on the way, but sadly, she never had the chance to meet her.

By shaving her hair and raising money for leukaemia, Laragh is creating a connection of her own…a way to honour her Nanny and feel closer to her, while also doing something meaningful for the thousands of people, young and old, affected by leukaemia.
