Right now, more than 170,000 Australians are living with blood cancer, and 17 people lose their life to it every single day.
As a proud member of Loftus Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade, and representing the New South Wales Rural Fire Service, I’m taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave] to do my part in supporting those affected.
Firefighting is about showing up for people on their worst days. This is another way I can show up and help, this time for individuals and families facing blood cancer.

The World's Greatest Shave is the flagship fundraising initiative of the Leukaemia Foundation, Australia’s only dedicated blood cancer charity. This iconic campaign helps us continue to provide wraparound blood cancer care for Australians with blood cancer.

Fuelled by our community of patients, carers, healthcare professionals, researchers, specialists, and supporters like you, we’re committed to continuing our work in providing life-changing support services, funding groundbreaking research projects, and advocating on behalf of patients and families.
