Last year, when I participated in the world's greatest shave for my first time, I felt led to do it as my grandfather was very sick with blood cancer. Not too long after the shave, he unfortunately passed away with cancer taking the better of him.
Now that I know how it feels to watch someone suffer with cancer, and eventually lose them, I want to participate again to support other patients and families, so that they can win their battle with cancer.
Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
