How to bring the World's Greatest Shave to your school and organise an event

Discover how to sign up your school and organise an unforgettable event with our staff-specific guides and resources – created to help you and your students get the most out of the experience.

Bring your school community together and empower the next generation of leaders

The World’s Greatest Shave is a student-led fundraising and leadership movement that brings school communities together through a shared challenge and a common purpose.

It gives students the opportunity to step up, take ownership, and build valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and event planning – all while creating a memorable experience.

Supported by staff and driven by students, it helps young people grow in confidence, strengthen connections, and feel proud of the impact they can make together.

4 steps to organising your school's World’s Greatest Shave event

 01

Sign up as a school team

Start a school team via the link below and set up your school’s fundraising page. Then spread the word to students and fellow staff members.

 02

Set a date and location

Choose a location that can accommodate a large group, whether it be the playground, a multi-purpose facility, or the school hall. All that matters is that you’re together.

 03

Recruit student leaders to help

Recruit student leaders to help organise, and hold ‘mini fundraisers’ leading up to the big day like sausage sizzles, bake sales and casual clothes days.

 04

Make the big day count

When the big day arrives, enjoy it together. And don’t forget to refer to our event day checklist to make sure you have everything you need.
