Join us in Term 1, 2026 for a free, in-person World’s Greatest Shave School Leadership Session near you! These inspiring and participatory workshops will connect student leaders and teachers, equipping them with the confidence, tools and motivation to champion World’s Greatest Shave in their schools.

Together, we’ll explore how to build leadership, strengthen school culture and create a sense of collective purpose, empowering students to lead unforgettable fundraising events that make a real impact for people living with blood cancer.

So far, 9,043 participants are taking part in 2026 and together have raised

Do I need to sign-up to participate in the World’s Greatest Shave 2026 to attend one of these sessions?

add remove

No. Over three decades, we’ve heard from countless schools that participation in the World’s Greatest Shave helps to build school culture, student leadership skills and curriculum aligned takeaways. These sessions are designed to build on this, with a goal of inspiring, equipping and empowering school leaders with skills, confidence and practical tools. These will stand them in good stead for leading the World’s Greatest Shave at their school- but this is not an attendance requirement!

Am I or is my school committed to do the World’s Greatest Shave if we attend one of these sessions?

add remove

No. While we’d love to inspire you to get involved in the World’s Greatest Shave 2026 as a way of uniting your school community, you are not committed to be involved in the World’s Greatest Shave by attending one of these School Leadership Sessions.

Do we need to bring anything?

add remove

You may want to bring something to jot down ideas, but all requirement materials will be provided. There will also be some light catering.

Are there any preparation requirements for teachers?

add remove

The Leukaemia Foundation will lead the session, so there’s nothing that teachers need to prepare. The most important thing is that there is a good representation of student leaders present, so they are inspired and equipped to connect your school around a great cause.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and get settled before the workshop begins.
