Squiddy is doing the World’s Greatest Shave!
So, it’s finally happening. Time to embrace my inner egg and rock a head like Bill from Guess Who, while raising money for a good cause - blood cancer research.
It’s a huge step for me - I’ve been growing my hair for 5 years, and it has become part of my identity, so this is no small decision for me. But, it’s time for a fresh start.
As some of you may know, I’ve been battling a nerve injury for over 3 years. As a result, I’ve periodically lost hair from stress and lack of sleep, but it’s always managed to grow back fine with no one the wiser.
Unfortunately I’m now on some new medication that has accelerated the process… every time I wash my hair I’m losing a monkey’s fist of curly blonde locks. Plus Tess is getting sick of washing my hair for me.
So it’s time to go chrome dome on my own terms - and if I’m going to shave it, why not try to raise some money for a worthy cause while I’m at it.
On the 28th of March I’ll be doing my best Mr Sheen impression and dusting of those Gillette razors that have been sitting in the draw unused for years.
