I have almost raised $5000, I am so overwhelmed by all the kindness and generosity. It has been awesome to receive all the messages of encouragement from ex colleagues, overseas family, new and old friends, thank you all so much. Having had 3 family members battle different cancers in the last 12 months (we used to be a cancer free family) I feel that it is so important to raise awareness for any cancer. This is my opportunity to show my support for leukaemia patients and their families.
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day. This number is just too high, and many of them will be children.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference.
