Turning a Diagnosis into a Purpose
More than 17,000 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer each year — that’s over 17,000 lives turned completely upside down by one sentence.
Unfortunately, I have become part of that statistic. On Christmas Eve of 2025, I was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer of your lymphatic system that starts in your white blood cells.
Before chemotherapy takes my hair, I will be donating it on the 13th of January to the Leukaemia Foundation. I will also be raising funds and awareness for blood cancer to fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
Between now and the 20th of January, I would be so grateful for any donations — big or small — to help support this amazing cause.
I am incredibly fortunate to have a village behind me, pushing me towards the finish line. However, I know there are many people and families who don’t have this same support, and I truly believe the funds raised here can help support those who need it most.
