Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 people lose their life to it every single day.
That’s why our brave 4-year-old son, Tavish, is taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave.
For four years, Tavish has never had more than one tiny trim of his beautiful long hair. It has been part of who he is since birth. Now, he’s chosen to do something incredibly kind and courageous: shave it off to help kids and families impacted by blood cancer.
While Tavish is still little, he already understands that some children get very sick, lose their hair during treatment, and spend long periods in hospital. Truthfully, he wants the money “to help every sick kid to go to the fun fair” but by donating to Tavish’s page, you’ll be helping the Leukaemia Foundation fund vital blood cancer research, provide practical and emotional support to families, and stand beside Australians facing one of the hardest battles of their lives.
Any amount, big or small, will make a real and tangible difference. Thank you for supporting Tavish and cheering on his very first haircut for such an important cause 💛
