Help me take a stand against blood cancer
This fundraiser sits close to my heart, like so many people within the community, I have personally seen the effect cancer can have on families, communities and entire support systems. It is much more than just an individual diagnosis, it affects every aspect of someone's life.
Every year, millions of people are affected by cancer, and in Australia alone cancer accounts every 3 out of 10 deaths. Almost every person has had an experience with cancer, whether that be personal or they have known someone with this disease. Research is vital to the fight against cancer, all funds raised will go straight to fund research for Leukaemia. Cancer doesn't just impact someone’s health, it also takes valuable time away from families, creating a feeling of helplessness which is hard to ignore. This is why I am cutting my hair, this is why I am raising funds, to hopefully fight for one day a cure being found and nobody having to carry the weight of this diagnosis again.
