Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
Our teams inspiration for participating in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest shave is our dads. My dad Greg passed away in 2014 after an 18 month battle with Multiple Myeloma. Rachel’s dad Meyer was diagnosed in March 2024 with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and is currently battling this condition.
Personally for my family the Leukaemia Foundation provided us with over 6 months worth of free accomodation in Brisbane while my mum and dad were living here for dads treatment and provided support along my dads journey.
One day at work Rach and I decided we would cut our hair on the 28th of March and donate our hair to be made into wigs for those currently going through cancer. By donating to our page, you’ll help us raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
