Help me take a stand against blood cancer


This is my second time over the last five years that I am cutting my hair to raise awareness, donate money and help create a wig to support cancer patients. 


I decided to do this after my cousin, Merel and my Grandmother, were both diagnosed with cancer. Merel lost all her hair throughout her treatment but made a full recovery and is now 22, living a strong and fulfilling life.


My grandmother's journey was much more difficult. After going through different stages of health she made the decision to stop treatment and sadly passed away two weeks ago. 


In her honour, I’ve decided to cut 20cm of my hair to help create a wig for someone going through a similar experience. I hope this small act can bring comfort, confidence or even a little bit of light to someone facing a really tough time.
