Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

I’m taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money and awareness for people affected by cancer a cause that means more to me than I can put into words.

Cancer has touched my family in ways I wish it never had. I’ve watched it suck the life out of my father, slowly taking away the person he was, until he eventually lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. I’ve also had to say goodbye to my grandad, who passed away from lung cancer.

Those experiences have stayed with me. They’ve shown me just how cruel cancer can be, not only to the person fighting it, but to everyone who loves and supports them.

So I’m shaving my hair and putting myself out there to help make a difference. It’s a small thing I can do in memory of my dad and grandad, and in support of everyone currently fighting cancer, their families, and those who have lost someone they love.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps support life-changing research and gives hope to people affected by cancer.

Thanks for having your say
