Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
Sadly one of my grandchildren was diagnosed 5 weeks ago with Leukemia . It came out of nowhere and can happen to anyone but I feel it is especially sad when it happens to a child. She is an amazing girl and I love her to bits . She has been so strong and nothing seems to faze her !
When she was first diagnosed I told her I would shave my head to be like her ( but also raise some money in the process ) bearing in mind I am 70 years old , it may not be a pretty sight , but I figure my hair will grow again so here I am and thats why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
