Help me take a stand against blood cancer

In 2006, my Nan was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Along with other health battles, including beating breast cancer, Nan bravely fought Leukaemia until her passing in July of 2024. Nan was my biggest supporter, someone I idolised, and never ceased to make me smile. My family and I miss her dearly.

Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the same devastating impacts of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.

One of Nan’s last running gags with me was ringing me every time she saw a hair loss ad on the telly. With Male Pattern Baldness taking its toll on my thinning hairline, I thought it would be time for me to shave off the locks, and raise some money in the process. That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference. My family are forever grateful for the support of medical staff and charitable organisations in the fight against this insidious disease. Any donation is another step for peace and comfort for families like ours.

Thanks for having your say
