Help me take a stand against blood cancer
✂️💙 THE MULLET IS ON THE LINE! 💙✂️
Most people doing the World's Greatest Shave simply shave their head...
But where's the fun in that?
This year, I'm putting my legendary mullet through the ultimate fundraising challenge to support the Leukaemia Foundation and help Australians impacted by blood cancer.
Over 170,000 Australians are currently living with blood cancer, and sadly, 17 lives are lost every day. That's why we're turning this fundraiser into a full-blown hair disaster for a great cause!
🚨 THE MULLET ESCALATION LADDER 🚨
💰 Hit the first target? The front gets shaved into a skin skullet, leaving the party at the back.
💰 Hit the next target? The remaining mullet gets PERMED.
💰 Keep the donations rolling? The whole thing gets dyed BRIGHT PINK to match my famous tutu from Lunges for Luey.
💰 Smash the final target? The mullet is gone for good with a full World's Greatest Shave.
And here's the catch...
❌ If we don't hit the target, I have to KEEP THE MULLET!
Every donation, big or small, helps fund vital support services for families facing blood cancer and contributes to life-changing research.
So if you've ever wanted to see a perfectly good mullet ruined for charity, now is your chance.
Donate, share, and help us turn this mullet into a cure. 💙✂️
Because some things are worth losing your hair for.

💙 Shave for a Cure – 21st August 💙
Wednesday 10th Jun
The countdown is on! ✂️😄
On 21st August, Percy will be shaving it all off for Shave for a Cure, raising much-needed funds and awareness for Australians affected by blood cancer. Every dollar raised helps support families, fund vital research, and provide life-changing support services.
It's more than just losing a bit of hair, it's about standing with families, friends, and loved ones who are facing one of life's toughest battles. We're incredibly proud of Percy for stepping up, and we can't wait to see the transformation! 💪💙

Percy’s World’s Greatest Shave Challenge: The Mullet Escalation Ladder is Officially Back
Tuesday 2nd Jun
Hey team,
Percy is raising funds for the World’s Greatest Shave by shaving off his mullet in support of the Leukaemia Foundation and Australians affected by blood cancer.
Donate here: Percy’s fundraising page
We’ve decided to take things up a notch with an official escalation ladder to keep it interesting:
- Skin skullet shave – mullet stays in the back, front gets taken as short as possible
- The perm – bring on the curls
- Pink dye job – matching his tutu from Lungees for Leukaemia
- Full shave off – if we hit the donation target, it all comes off
BUT… if we don’t hit the target, Percy has to commit to keeping the full combo: mullet, perm, and pink dye for a period of time 😅
Every donation helps support families going through blood cancer and funds vital research and care. Let’s see what we can make happen 💪
Shave for a Cure – FNQ Mullet Challenge
Wednesday 22nd Apr
Cairns & FNQ crew… it’s officially happening 😅
The mullets are making a comeback and not for fashion reasons (thankfully). We’re growing them out for Shave for a Cure, and yes… some of these lids are already looking questionable at best.
This is something that means a lot to us. We’re teaming up with our crane mates and our suppliers across FNQ to raise funds, have a laugh, and back a cause that hits close to home for many people. There will be plenty of banter, some shocking hairstyles, and eventually a very satisfying moment when it all comes off ✂️
Every donation, big or small, helps make a real difference and gets us one step closer to chopping these masterpieces off.
The Big Shave Event
August 21 at 39 Moffat St is where the big shave is happening.
For now though, we’re just letting the mullets do their thing and admiring (or questioning) the progress along the way 😂
It’s Not Just About Shaving
One thing we want to make clear is you don’t have to go completely bald to get involved. You can cut it, colour it, or go full wild with it 🎨
It’s all about getting involved, having a laugh, and backing a really important cause.
Why We’re Doing It
Behind the fun and the bad hair days, this is about supporting Shave for a Cure and raising awareness and funds for a cause that impacts so many families. If we can have a bit of fun while doing it and bring the FNQ crew together, even better.
Stick Around
Stick around… it’s going to get worse before it gets better 😂
We’ll keep sharing the progress as the mullets grow and the chaos builds up leading into the big day.
