Cairns & FNQ crew… it’s officially happening 😅
The mullets are making a comeback and not for fashion reasons (thankfully). We’re growing them out for Shave for a Cure, and yes… some of these lids are already looking questionable at best.
This is something that means a lot to us. We’re teaming up with our crane mates and our suppliers across FNQ to raise funds, have a laugh, and back a cause that hits close to home for many people. There will be plenty of banter, some shocking hairstyles, and eventually a very satisfying moment when it all comes off ✂️
Every donation, big or small, helps make a real difference and gets us one step closer to chopping these masterpieces off.
The Big Shave Event
August 21 at 39 Moffat St is where the big shave is happening.
For now though, we’re just letting the mullets do their thing and admiring (or questioning) the progress along the way 😂
It’s Not Just About Shaving
One thing we want to make clear is you don’t have to go completely bald to get involved. You can cut it, colour it, or go full wild with it 🎨
It’s all about getting involved, having a laugh, and backing a really important cause.
Why We’re Doing It
Behind the fun and the bad hair days, this is about supporting Shave for a Cure and raising awareness and funds for a cause that impacts so many families. If we can have a bit of fun while doing it and bring the FNQ crew together, even better.
Stick Around
Stick around… it’s going to get worse before it gets better 😂
We’ll keep sharing the progress as the mullets grow and the chaos builds up leading into the big day.
