Last year, we said goodbye to a very special friend who fought incredibly hard to stay in this world to grow old with his beautiful wife and to watch his two little boys grow into men.
Sadly, this awful disease had other plans and took him far too soon 💔
Throughout that fight, the Leukaemia Foundation was there for his family when they needed it most.
When they had to relocate for treatment, the Foundation helped provide them with somewhere to live, close to the hospital.
That support gave them a safety net when their world had been turned upside down. It meant they could focus on what mattered most:
*Getting through treatment
*Being together as a family
*Trying to give their boys some sense of normality during an incredibly difficult time.
This is why I am asking you to please consider donating to my fundraiser.
There are so many families currently facing this awful disease; parents, children, husbands, wives, siblings, friends and loved ones.
A diagnosis can turn someone's entire world upside down, and the last thing a family should have to worry about is how they are going to manage everything else around it.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help the Leukaemia Foundation be that safety net for another family when they need it most.
