Help me take a stand against blood cancer
When I was younger, I spent a lot of time in the hospital thanks to my Crohn's Disease, and for most of that time I was in wards that I shared with kids that were a lot worse off than me. Many of the young patients I met and became friends with didn't make it to being adult hospital patients thanks to their illnesses. The worst of these was always the different cancers that they had, and through my life I've supported many different cancer charities despite my restricted income and health issues.
After my father passed away from cancer in 2012 I did my first shave, followed by 2014 and 2016. 10 years later and I'm back for a final run around, as my hair is more than noticeably thinning so it's time to get rid of it all, so may as well do some good while I'm at it.
By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families. This will help the over 170,000 Australians that are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer. And there are still 17 who lose their life every single day.
Any amount regardless of size will make a real difference to all of those that are directly affected both currently and into the future with improved research and treatment
