Shaving It All Off for the World’s Greatest Shave!

This year I turned 50 and I am officially done dealing with my hair! Between the endless maintenance, the cost of products, and the sheer effort to try and make it look presentable, I’ve decided the best belated birthday present to myself is a very aerodynamic head. 


But instead of just throwing in the towel, I’m putting my scalp to good use and raising funds for the World’s Greatest Shave to support blood cancer research and patient care. Shaving it all off feels like a win-win: I save 20 minutes every morning, and we raise vital funds for families facing a diagnosis. Help me celebrate my 50's hair-free—whether you toss in $5 or $50, your donation will keep my heart (and hopefully my head!) warm.

I am completely blown away by the incredible support, generous donations, and love everyone has shown over the past few weeks. Thanks to your amazing generosity, we’ve officially passed our original target for the World’s Greatest Shave!

​Seeing this wave of support has given me so much extra motivation as I get ready to make the big cut. Because blood cancer doesn't take a break, and because the need for life-saving research and patient support services is so urgent, I’m not stopping here.

​I have officially upped my goal to $2,500!

​Reaching this new target will help fund:

  • ​Crucial Blood Cancer Research: Helping scientists discover better, gentler treatments and work toward a cure.
  • ​Vital Support Services: Providing free accommodation and support for families who have to relocate for treatment.
  • ​Direct Patient Care: Ensuring no one has to face a blood cancer diagnosis alone.
