Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer.

When he was only 5 years old, my nephew had leukaemia. He had to endure treatment for two years, but he has been healthy since then! For the entire first year, being from a country town, my sister and her family had to live away from home in accommodation provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities. It was a really tough couple of years for them all, but they got through it, thanks to the availability of all the medicine, the research and the associated support from organisations including The Leukaemia Foundation.

The idea of shaving my head actually scares me a bit! But that is incomparable to how scary it is being told your child has a life-threatening illness. And my incredibly courageous little nephew endured some very scary things.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.

Any amount – big or small – will make a real, tangible difference to families who have to face this.

Thank you!
