I've signed up for Shave for a Cure because I wanted to do something that matters.
My hair will grow back. For people fighting leukaemia, it's not that simple. This disease doesn't discriminate—it affects children who should be playing, not sitting in hospital rooms. As a parent, that reality hits hard.
But it's not just children. It's someone's mum or dad, someone's grandparent, someone's aunty or uncle. People who are loved, needed, and shouldn't have to face this fight.
I can't cure leukaemia, but I can help fund the research and support that might. So I'm shaving my head. It's a small thing, but if it contributes even a little bit to finding better treatments or supporting families going through this, it's worth it.
