Getting diagnosed with Leukaemia is a bit like getting hit by a car - it usually comes out of nowhere, you’d never see it coming and it’s going to profoundly change your life forever.
Luckily like a lot of other blood cancer patients, I wasn’t alone in my journey and had the excellent support of the Leukaemia foundation. The support they provided was truly invaluable and included regular nurse check-ins, financial as well as emotional support throughout my treatment.
