Help me take a stand against blood cancer
As many of you may or may not know, I was a childhood blood cancer patient. I was miraculously healed but in saying that I have always been a supporter of giving back, initially as a blood donor until I was unable to do that anymore with changes to people who could or could not give blood, and then I joined the shave for a cure team every two or three years for the past almost 20 years.
This year will be my last. I believe at the age of 61 years it is time for others to take up the yoke and I will support them to help this worthy cause.
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
