Michael was only 26 when he passed away, after facing an aggressive and courageous battle. Despite his suffering, he honoured us all with a message of hope and inspiration at his funeral. His words gave me the courage to seek the help I needed and changed the course of my life. To Michael and his family - John, Evelina and David - and to all those who are faced with the challenges of this disease, I stand with you and have hope for the future.
