Shaving for Dad!
Earlier this year, my Dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. He has been undergoing chemotherapy and will shortly lose his hair as part of the treatment.
On Saturday 19 September, my brothers and I are shaving our heads as part of the World’s Greatest Shave to support Dad and raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. All funds raised will go towards supporting families affected by blood cancer and funding research.
I’ve set an initial target of $5,000. [Edit: wow... after overwhelming early support, we're going to up our target to $10,000. Thank you, everyone, for the incredible generosity!] We’d greatly appreciate any support or donations, big or small. Helpfully, all donations are tax-deductible (every bit helps these days..!).
