Help me take a stand against blood cancer
Right now, over 150,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 lose their life every single day.
I am lucky enough to not be part of those statistics. I have decided as i age to accept it and stop pretending my receding hairline is not happening. As i am looking to shave my hair (and trim my beard) it seemed worthy to try and help the fight against leukemia even a little bit.
I am also dedicating my loss of hair to my cat Walter who unfortunately is dying of kidney failure at only 4 years old. I have had long hair for the last 20+ years and by shaving it i will be keeping him in my memories.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
