Shaving my curls to fight cancer
Today I’ve decided to do something that means a lot to me. I’m a 14-year-old boy with curly hair that I’ve always loved, but I’m going to shave it off to help raise awareness and money for cancer. My grandfather has been fighting an aggressive brain tumour for the past 6 years, and seeing what he has gone through has inspired me to try and make a difference. Shaving my hair is a small sacrifice compared to what so many people with cancer face every day, but if it can help raise awareness and support research, then it’s worth it. I’m doing this for my grandfather and for everyone affected by cancer. Any support or donation would mean the world.
