Why am I shaving my head?
Every single day, someone in our lives is impacted by cancer. It could be a family member, a friend, a friend of a friend, or even someone you barely know.
When I was younger, I lost my Nana to cancer. She was someone that I shared a special connection with, and to say I greatly miss her is an understatement. It was a tragic loss that devastated our family.
In light of her memory and to help others face this ongoing battle, I’m shaving my head to raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation. All money donated will go directly to funding vital research in the fight against blood cancer, because no one should have to endure the pain cancer brings.
