Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Cancer is one of those things that is just unapologetically heartbreaking. It seems all too common to know someone who has or is suffering with it. I'm cutting my hair because I can, I've always had my hair long and I can't imagine it gone. Yet there are people out there in the same shoes that didn't have the choice.

My angel grandmother adored my hair from when I was very young, its thick curls and crazy nature fascinated her. However, cancer took her away too soon, before she could see me grow into the woman I am. I'm cutting my hair partly because someone may need it more than me, but mostly in honour of her, my grandmother, who spent hours caring for it. Who loved me and those around her delicately and unconditionally but was taken away too soon.

Cancer research is more than just revolutionary research, it holds the capability to keep families together longer, give hope and change lives.

I want to raise money for this research because we don't know how long we have with the people we love.

Thanks for having your say
