Help me battle blood cancer
Right now, over 170,000 Australians are facing the devastating impact of blood cancer, and 17 people lose their lives to it every single day.
That’s why I’m taking on the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll be helping to fund vital research and provide critical support services for patients and their families.
Any contribution—big or small—will make a real and tangible difference.
I’ve been growing my hair for this moment… somewhat unintentionally. While my friends and family might prefer I keep it long, I’d already declared I’d cut it once it reached 20cm so someone who can’t grow their own hair could benefit from it. Now that it’s finally long enough, the time has come.
But this is about more than just donating strands of keratin. It’s about raising awareness of how widespread blood cancer is and contributing to the fight against it through research and patient support. On a personal note, I’ve had several friends and family members affected by blood cancer, which makes this cause even more meaningful to me.
If you’re willing and able, please consider donating. As a little extra incentive, one donor will be randomly selected to have the privilege (or burden!) of cutting and shaving my hair.
