Why am I doing this?
Growing up surrounded by health professionals has certainly had an impact on me, from those massive scones in the hospital in Broome, to the endless splinters removed from my hands free of charge. All of it has amounted to this appreciation for how our health system strives and survives with what is has. So for that reason, I want to shave my head so that I can have some form of impact on the people who need it it more than me, both those suffering from blood cancer and the people who save their lives, shift after shift.
