MORE THAN HAIR

My name is Ewan Herbert and I am a Grade 11 student, a bandmate, a partner, and a Christian. I could give you a terrifying statistic about blood cancer that you might remember for a few hours or even a couple days, but the truth is, this is more than hair. It's a statement.

I'm shaving my head because some people don't get the choice. It's an attempt to understand just a fraction of how blessed I am that we don't have to fight the battle of blood cancer every single day, when so many people do. And I'm raising money so that those smart scientists out there can give treatment to those who need it most. I'm shaving my head because I feel it's what God called me to do.

I hope to raise $1000 for blood cancer research this year as part of the World's Greatest Shave and I hope you will take part in this mission. Let's make a difference, a real, tangible difference. Let's give our paychecks a purpose. Let's take a stand against blood cancer!

Galatians 6:9 NIV:

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

THE BIG 25

Thursday 8th May
I'm participating in World's Greatest Shave in 2025, with the goal of raising $1000 to assist in research towards blood cancer treatment and the cure. I'm choosing to losing my hair for the people who don't get a choice in it, to support those who wish they didn't have to fight this battle. I'm participating in the hopes that maybe, just maybe those out there battling blood cancer may not feel so alone. God is good, thanks be to Jesus Christ our Lord always and forevermore.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Ran out spac
