Help me take a stand against blood cancer

When I was in Grade 9, my grandmother passed away from cancer. Of course, her loss left a gaping hole in my family. I admire the courage I saw in my parents at this time, particularly my Mum, as she carried on with life - being an outstanding mum - whilst mourning the loss of her own.

I don't tell this story for pity, because most people have a story like this. Everyone has grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, and even closer relatives that have struggled with cancer.

Most adults in my extended family have had a form of cancer (mostly skin) and no one even bats an eye. "She'll be 'right," they say. 

But "she" may not be 'right, and that's why I am joining World's Greatest Shave this year. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully, with enough funds and research, we can help more and more families stay intact, and help people say "she'll be 'right" with honesty.
