I don’t want anyone to have cancer!!!
What is my experience of cancer?
I lost my Grandpa to cancer 5 years ago, on the 15th of May 2020. May 15th is very important to my family and this is the same date that I will be shaving my hair for cancer!
My friend Edwina had cancer when she was really little and survived! But she is still effected from the cancer treatment and what it did to her body.
Why am I shaving my hair?
I want to make a difference with what I can, I’m a girl with long hair and this is a big deal! My hair is going to take ages to grow back, I will start High School next year with my hair still really short.
My family have done the ‘Relay for Life’ before but shaving my hair is another way that I can help stop cancer by raising money for researchers to find out more information so that one day no one will get cancer.
How much money am I hoping to raise?
At least $1000 but I really want to raise more! Maybe $5000….
