Both my grandmothers passed away from cancer - one from bile duct cancer and the other from breast cancer. I'll never forget the impact this had on my family, and on two of the kindest people I'll ever know. They were the type of people who would prioritise my family and my wellbeing above their own, even while battling pain every day.
Cancer brought hospital rooms, difficult conversations, uncertainty and that draining feeling of helplessness that others going through similar experiences will know all too well. It affects more than the person diagnosed - it affects patients' children, grandchildren, extended families, and even their close friends.
That’s why I’m taking on the World’s Greatest Shave. If you can, please donate and help the families that are facing the same battle today. Every dollar you donate helps drive research forward and delivers the essential support to those that need it most. Instead of potentially buying something you may only use once, help me fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
