Help me take a stand against blood cancer
This year for the annual World's Greatest Shave, I will be dedicating this year's stream to my best friend, Tallis, as he is currently undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
To say the news came as a massive shock to me is a drastic understatement to say the very least. Given my current disposition and am unable to travel interstate from Melbourne to Brisbane to check up on him, I can still send my love support to him, his wife, and their families.
So, to honour my best friend and his journey in curb stomping the shit out of cancer, I will be dying my hair lime green, as per the colour representation of lymphoma. Though all proceeds will be going to the Leukaemia Foundation, Lymphoma is still a variant of Blood Cancer. So, the least I can do is dye my hair lime green as part of the cause to balance things out.
