Help me take a stand against blood cancer

Hi, my name is Daniel, I’m 17 years old, and I’m taking part in the World's Greatest Shave to raise vital funds for leukaemia research.

This cause is deeply personal to me. My 90-year-old grandfather was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). Thanks to incredible medical research and the opportunity to join a clinical trial, he went into remission, which gave our family three extra quality years with him. Although he has since passed away due to another cause, that precious time meant everything to us.

Those extra years would not have been possible without advances in treatment, research breakthroughs, and clinical trials—many of which rely heavily on funding from events like the World’s Greatest Shave. Fundraisers help turn hope into reality for families facing leukaemia, just like mine.

By supporting my shave, you’re not just supporting me—you’re helping to fund better treatments, life-saving research, and future clinical trials so more people can get the chance my grandfather did.
