Help me take a stand against blood cancer
On the 29th of March I’ll be sitting down to have my head shaved. A small gesture in support to those affected by blood cancer. I know these shoes far too well, with my own daughter “Courtney” battling AML not once but twice. With the AML diagnosis’s Courtney had to endure two stem cell transplants. Luckily the first time my daughter Kate was a full match. The second transplant we had to go to the world bone marrow donor registry. Luck struck us again with Courtney being a full match with a German male, who was willing to donate his stem cells. In saying this, I’m raising money to help support people effected by blood cancers and continue the must needed research in finding a cure. I also want to raise awareness to join the stem cell donor registry. If you are between the ages of 18-35 years old, please consider joining.
