Help me take a stand against blood cancer
So as of right now, over 170,000 Australians are sadly living with the devastating impacts faced with blood cancer & treatments that are supposed to help them get better. Despite the treatments we have accessible here in Australia there are still 17 people who loose their life every single day. 17 families left with the heartache of loosing their dearly loved ones.
I watched my Nan face her battle with a form of Leukaemia. She was given 3 months to live but she made it another 3 years.
Watching her fight through the sickness from the treatments there which were supposed to make her better but made her ill in other ways. Blood transfusions & the chemo. All made her suffer the more through out those weeks.
We need more research into treatments for all cancers…
So I was going to shave my head once my nan lost her hair but she was horrified at the thought so I decided I’ll dye my hair in support instead!!!
On my nans birthday 25th August 2026 I’m going to be taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. By donating to my page, you’ll help me raise funds and awareness for blood cancer, and fuel life-changing research projects and support services for patients and their families.
