Help me take a stand against blood cancer
This year I’ve decided to take part in Shave for a Cure, and it’s not just about shaving my head — it’s about standing with the thousands of Australians who hear the words “you have leukaemia .”
My dad is living with chronic leukaemia , and every day I see the strength and courage it takes him to battle this horrible cancer. Treatments are tough and the journey is long.
Shaving my head is just a small gesture, but it’s my way of showing solidarity with him — and with all the families going through the same journey. leukaemia changes lives in an instant, and the support, research, and hope that come from fundraising like this truly make a difference.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference to those fighting today and to the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
