We can fight Blood Cancer
Blood cancer is more common than people think. Around 20,000 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer each year and these cases make up about 12% of all cancer diagnosis. Some projections predict that blood cancer could become one of the most common cancers in Australia by as soon as 2035.
I fight against blood cancer for those who have lost their battles, for those who are currently fighting and for those who will face this enemy in the near future. I am to raise awareness of blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. This is because in doing so we can:
- help more people recognise the symptoms like fatigue, frequent infections or unusual bruising for earlier diagnosis
- advocate for more needed blood and plasma donation
- fund the Leukaemia Foundation who fund vital, free support for Australians living with Blood Cancer and conduct research to improve future treatment
So please donate. Every cent counts.
