Why I’m Shaving My Head for Cancer
I’m doing the World’s Greatest Shave and here’s why.
When I was younger, my auntie sadly passed away from cancer. At the time, I didn’t really understand what was going on, but now that I’m older, I know how serious cancer is and how much it affects people and their families.
That’s why I’ve decided to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave. I’ve always wanted to do something to raise awareness and help people with cancer. I even asked my principal if I could talk about it on stage at school once, but that didn’t end up happening. So when I heard about the shave this year, I knew straight away that I wanted to be part of it.
My goal is to raise $1000, so far I am nearly there.
