As I approach my half century I have challenged myself to a bucket list of items I’ve always wanted to do, been afraid to do or just casually thought about and decided to put on the list. One of which is to shave my head!
You may ask yourself, Ang why would you do something so insane and that you’re pretty sure is going to lead to months of regret and self-recrimination? To that I say, great point! But after all it’s just hair, beautiful, concealing my weirdly shaped head, hair.
It also allows me to put some good out into the world by raising money for Leukaemia support and research, a cause close to my heart as I lost my Uncle Peter to this cancer and know how hard it is to fight and how valuable the work they do is.
I’ve booked my date with the clippers for Friday, 31 July and set myself an ambitious goal of $2,000. Big or small, every donation counts. So please help me make a difference by donating to my fundraising page and of course feel free to share.
