Help me take a stand against blood cancer

On the 1st of April I’ve decided to shave my head to raise money for The leukaemia foundation.

At 17, I’ve learned that health is something we often take for granted. I train hard, I set goals, I push my body, because I can. But not everyone gets that choice. Every day, families across Australia hear the words “blood cancer,” and in that moment, everything changes.

I’m shaving my hair to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation, who provide vital support, fund research, and walk alongside families during some of the hardest chapters of their lives. They help with accommodation, emotional support, and practical care so that no one has to go through it alone.

Hair is such a big part of identity, especially as a young woman. But if letting go of it can help raise awareness, spark conversations, and bring hope to someone who is fighting a battle far bigger than hair, then it’s a small sacrifice.

This is about compassion. It’s about standing with people in their most vulnerable moments. It’s about using what I have to make even a small difference.

I’m shaving for the fighters, the survivors, and the families — and I’m so grateful for anyone who chooses to support this journey
